Cave Dwellers

It was a fabulous weekend and I'm excited about what lies ahead these next two days as well.  In a matter of hours I will be heading to St. Louis via the scenic route of Highway 94.  The Missouri River bluffs are incredibly beautiful and the twists and turns of this road always leave me breathless.  I will have much on my mind which, of course, means the words will find their way onto these pages.  But first, I have thoughts to post from Saturday.  I hope you enjoy. “Within this cave, there is an inexhaustible treasure. Within this cave, the Invisible and Infinite Lord abides. He Himself is hidden, and He Himself is revealed.” ~Sri Guru Granth Sahib

The journey begins...

“What difference is there, do you think, between those in Plato's cave who can only marvel at the shadows and images of various objects, provided they are content and don't know what they miss, and the philosopher who has emerged from the cave and sees the real things?” ~Desiderius Erasmus

“You are also caught with the fact that man is a creature who walks in two worlds and traces upon the walls of his cave the wonders and the nightmare experiences of his spiritual pilgrimage.” ~Morris West
